Outdoor Facilities
Farmyard Friends
Here at Farmyard Friends we are very proud of our varied outdoor facilities which we access throughout each day. Children are asked to provide suitable footwear and clothing to ensure we can play and explore these areas whatever the weather.
Our outdoor areas consist of:
An extensive outdoor play area consisting of safety tarmac, all weather astro turf and a large outdoor fully equipped classroom. Resources are rotated and include the following: PE Trolley, Bikes, Cars, Scooters, Outdoor Construction, Book area, Outdoor kitchen, gardening growing area, bridge, tunnel and balancing equipment, mark making and much more.
Making the most of the local community, we are fortunate to have lovely surroundings which we walk to regularly. This includes the beach, several local farms, the duck pond, the church and we enjoy nature walks in and around the village.
We are lucky to be able to visit the cows on the working farm on whivh we are based.
