We are always working hard to ensure we provide the
service that is right for you and your child. All staff are dedicated to
the care, learning and happiness of all the children within our
care.
Having the right staff is key in supporting your
child’s learning and development. At Farmyard Friends we have
exceptionally highly qualified and experienced practitioners who are
committed to continual professional development.
Proprietor
& Managing Director & Safeguarding Lead, Caroline Basham holds a
BA (hons) degree in Early Years Care and Education and has Early Years
Professional Status.
Caroline is supported by her management
team as follows:
Nursery Manager, SEND Co-ordinator and
Safeguarding Lead - Kristina Bamford who has a Level 4 in Understanding
Early Years and a Level 4 in Nursery Management.
Deputy Manager - Bethan Ashbridge - Level 5 - Foundation Degree in Learning Support
Pre School Co-ordinator - Steph Wilson - Level 5 - Children's and Young Peoples Advanced Practice
Management Support Worker - Rebecca Nicholson - Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Childcare Practice & Management
Toddler Room Co-ordinator - Sarah Fells - Level 4 in Understanding Early Years
Baby Room Co-ordinator - Leanne Fowler who has a Level 4 in Advanced Childcare Practice and Management.
Our dedicated and caring team of qualified nursery nurses includes Clare Bond Level 3, Adele Kubicki Level 3, Millie Ashmore Level 3, Amy Mattinson Level 3, Emma Dixon Level 5, Catherine Basham Level 3, Kirsty Taylor Level 3, Leah Evans Level 3, Katie Walker Level 2 who is studying Primary Teaching and we have a nursery apprentice, Jessica Uscroft who is currently studying Level 3.
All staff hold Paediatric First Aid, Food Safety
and Safeguarding children qualifications which are updated regularly.
The quality of our staff is the best possible guarantee that your child
will experience high quality care and learning experiences.
We also have the support of the East Riding of Yorkshire
Council’s Early Years Team and have strong links with our local
Children’s Centre in Hornsea.
