Nursery Open Day - Saturday 17th May 2025 - 9.30-11.30am - All Welcome
We are opening our doors to both existing and new families who would like the opportunity to have a look around our newly expanded setting to re visit or view our facilities for the first time. The 0-2's, 2-3's, Pre School and outdoor areas, will all be open and our friendly and knowledgable practitioners will be available to chat with and answer any questions that you may have. Our management team will be on hand for questions regarding funding, sessions or anything else you would like to discuss.

Nursery is open all year round, apart from the week between Christmas and New Year.

Fire Brigade Visit - We are very excited to have the Hornsea Fire Brigade visiting us here at Farmyard Friends on Wednesday 21st May 2025. This is a famtastic opportunity for the children to gain knowledge about one of our emergency services and learn about basic fire safety.
Nursery & Pre school are closed on all bank holidays.
Paediatric First Aid
The whole nursery team have renewed their 12 hour Paediatric First Aid qualifications in October 2024.
Home Learning Activities
Our monthly home learning activities will come to you via your child's Tapestry account or we are happy to provide paper copies if you would prefer. We would be delighted if you will take part in these activities and could post your pictures and achievements back to us on Tapestry.
Bags of Support
We currently have four bags of support available for our families to borrow. These offer help and support with toilet training, healthy eating and expecting a new baby. Please ask our practitioners for further information. We also have a variety of parent fact sheets on topics such as biting and weaning.
The Yorkshire Post Rural Business of The Year Award
We were delighted to be awarded 'The Yorkshire Post Rural Business of The Year Award' at The Pavillions in Harrogate on 10th October. Huge thanks and congratulations to all of our team for helping us to achieve this prestigious award.
NEW INTAKE OF CHILDREN
Many thanks to everyone for recommending our services. The majority of our children come through recommendations from current families and we cannot thank you all enough for this.
If you are considering changing or increasing your sessions in the near future please do let us know to ensure a place is reserved. Waiting list forms are also available for babies who require a place next year. Please let us know, even if the baby isn’t here yet.
