The Early Years Foundation Stage

Children

Farmyard Friends

At Farmyard Friends we know that each child develops differently and will ensure that all activities are differentiated to ensure each child fulfils their potential and most importantly, has fun learning through play participating in activities that interest them.

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is the government framework that sets out the standards, education and care that all childcare providers are expected to deliver. At Farmyard Friends we strive to not only deliver this but to excel in these standards.

We are regulated by Ofsted and were graded Outstanding in all areas in our June 2016 Ofsted inspection and again in October 2021. Please see the Ofsted report link.

We offer exciting and stimulating adult led and child initiated activities that help stretch and develop each individual child’s desire to investigate and learn.
